Friends and Family Celebrating Marcellin Rugby for 20 Years

Victoria Schools representatives to tour Tasmania

It is with great pride and pleasure that we can announce the news that several Marcellin College Rugby boys have been picked to represent their respective Victorian year level teams.

Hamish Atkinson has been selected in the Rebels Victorian schools U18 team for 2015 and is heading up to Sydney to compete against other States around Australia in the Australian Schoolboy Championships. Hamish's selection has come through significant perseverance having had to undergo a major knee reconstruction in early 2014 that saw him unable to play sport for 12 months.

Congratulations also go to:
Aidan  Prado, Max Brook, William Cox and Jack O'Shaughnessy who have been selected to represent the U17 Victorian Schools Rugby Union team.
Oliver Collier and Mackenzie Surridge who have been selected to represent the U16 Victorian Schools Rugby Union team.
Matthew Migotto, Mark Ludik, Simon Sotiropoulos, Nicholas Woods and James Iakouidis who have been selected to represent the U14 Victorian Schools Rugby Union team.
Particular note should be made to the selection of these five boys in the U14 team as they represent  nearly 25% of the Victorian team. This is testament to the Marcellin U14 rugby team, support and coaching staff for their amazing efforts this year.
The VSRU teams will be touring Tasmania in August this year and will play 2 matches each.

Congratulations and good luck on tour to all these boys.
